TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

We initially made contact with Sean Leighton of Leightons Landscape Services just on 12 months ago.  We have a property of 4 acres, with about  1 ½ acres of gardens, which were in need of professional design help.

Sean advised us on what was necessary to create the garden we were wanting, including culling of plants that were inhibiting growth of other plants and additional planting necessary.  We have found Sean to have a very impressive and extensive knowledge of plants and trees – their needs and requirements.  Sean listened to what we were wanting to achieve and offered excellent suggestions, ensuring the short and long term vision for our gardens were met.

Sean and his team have now also been looking after our on-going monthly maintenance since the initial work.  This includes weeding, fertilising, pruning and planting as required.  We have found Sean and his workers to be very honest, reliable, thorough and professional at all times.

We would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Sean for your Landscape Design or Monthly Maintenance requirements for your gardens.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you require further comments.

Yours sincerely

Dear Sean

Thank you for a superb landscaping project, completed on time and on budget. I am delighted with the finished result.

What really impressed was your professional approach, from arriving on time, to providing sketches and a written proposal and introducing other contractors for the tree felling and hard landscaping.

I appreciated your coordinating the hard landscape (builders for deck and garden retaining edges etc) and working in with them so that I never once had to telephone and hurry anyone up. This is a rarity in my experience with trade's people.

Please feel free to use this letter as a reference or for prospective customers to call as I would absolutely recommend your services.

Yours sincerely,

Nick Gordon, 021 930568

David Barker, Orewa     9th January 2007

 TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

I moved into a new property in Orewa in December 2005 and was soon faced with the daunting task of breaking in a new section. Due to the work involved this task required the services of a professional landscaper and plans were subsequently drawn up early in 2006. Unfortunately by April 2006 I had been badly let down by the contractor who’s quote I had accepted and I was now back to square one.

At this point I contacted Leightons Landscaping Ltd by email and Sean Leighton responded promptly and met on-site within days to discuss my requirements.

Changes and improvements were made to my original Concept Plan before Sean’s construction team of Graeme and Brian Sangster commenced the construction phase early in July after numerous delays caused by a very wet winter.

After further weather delays the project was completed to my satisfaction in September 2006 and later follow-up visits by Sean Leighton were testimony to his Customer Service ethic.

I would be pleased to recommend Leighton's Landscape Services Ltd to any prospective customer and any further particulars would gladly be supplied upon request.

To Whom It May Concern:

We had a reasonable sized back yard that we had just partially levelled off with a retaining wall & had a sloping section below that. We weren’t sure what to do next to make it useable. We contacted Leighton’s Landscapes through their website for ideas & to get a quote. Sean was very prompt with his reply, arranged a time to come out & see the site, suggested various ideas & then sent us through a quote within days of his visit.

We were impressed with Sean’s horticultural knowledge & he was able to advise exactly what plants would grow in the clay based soil we had. He also took into account the fact that we had young children and selected plants whose berries were edible should they find their way into young mouths.

Sean went above and beyond what we expected to help us find a reputable concrete contractor in our area to do the concreting of our parking area. This was despite him not receiving any commission from the concrete layer, who quoted us & billed us directly.

We found Sean and his team to be very friendly and professional. It was refreshing to find someone who did exactly what they said they would at the time they had stated. We are really pleased with the finished result & would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Leighton’s Landscapes Services.

Yours sincerely,

Nicole & Stephen Haigh
